  • Telescope

    Borg 125SD F/3.9

Featuring a collaboration between Borg and Pentax on a new objective design. Objective lens cell produced by Pentax Japan. Combine this with a 2” feather touch focuser and #7704 Borg super reducer and you have a winning combination

This was my own personal imaging scope for a few years and in my opinion fully deserves its place amongst this illustrious company. The Borg 125 offers the perfect combination of speed, colour correction and field flatness in a light weight package that is equal to any refractor I have used in the 5” range. At 125mm It offers a big resolution jump over telescopes like the Takahashi FSQ106ED and as a result has a much better sampling rate when combined with the 8300 CCD chip making it a great choice for our first tier subscription package.

  • Focuser

    Feather touch
"When only the best will do", you can be confident that there is no better than the smooth focus action of the "Feather Touch". From simple pleasure viewing, to technical astrophotography, we understand your needs, and have your focusing solution.
  • Camera

    QSI 683 WSG
The QSI 683 model camera employs an 8.3mp Kodak full-frame CCD image sensor with microlens technology. The increased Field of View, high quantum efficiency, wide dynamic range, dual read rates, low noise performance and internal 8-position color filter wheel make the QSI 683 ideally suited to remote astronomical imaging.
  • Filter Wheel

    QSI 683 WSG
The Wheel is built in to the camera
